Commemorating 25 Years
of Dedication

2010 marks the 25th year that Our Daily Bread has been serving up HOPE in Cincinnati.
When Cookie Vogelpohl, along with friends and family, opened a daytime soup kitchen named Our Daily Bread in 1985, they could never have known how many needs they would feed.
Twenty-five years later, Our Daily Bread has served over 2.5 million meals to hundreds of thousands of Cincinnati residents at its facilities near Findlay Market. From its current building on Elder and Race Streets, Our Daily Bread offers hot meals to upwards of 500 people, Monday through Friday.
Since the late 1990s, it has also added meal delivery, a computer lab, basic social services and an after-school program for children.
The heart of our mission is to respond to the needs of the poor in Over-the-Rhine and the West End. We serve a range of residents: the unemployed and the working poor, the old and the young, the homeless and the mentally ill, anyone who comes to us.”
As we commemorate 25 years, we invite you to BE PART OF IT!
