Make and Deliver Sandwiches

Sandwiches are provided with every hot meal so that our guests can have something to eat later in the day. Any sandwiches provided will help alleviate the pressure on our staff and limited number of volunteers during this time.
We are in need of 600 sandwiches each day, 400 Meat and 200 PB&J. Each sign up slot is for 100 sandwiches. If you are making more than 100 sandwiches please sign up for an additional slot. Deliver on the date you signed up for between 7AM and 10AM.
Instructions for donating sandwiches: place sandwiches in zipper sandwich baggies and label with type of sandwich.

- Meat Sandwiches: We usually only put bread and meat in each baggie. If you can provide cheese with the sandwich that is a bonus, but we don’t put on anything that will make the bread soggy. If you choose to provide cheese, please use individually-wrapped slices and add them next to the sandwich, not inside it, as some guests are lactose intolerant. Any type of bread or meat is accepted, but our guests tend to prefer white bread over wheat and turkey, ham or roast beef over bologna.
- PB&J Sandwiches: No rules really except making sure not to overload the bread with jam/jelly so the bread doesn’t get too soggy.
