We’re still trucking away on the History Project! Yesterday, we found photos of the original remodeling of our current location at 1730 Race St., which was really neat to see. The transformation is incredible.
Every time we think we’re running out of photos, articles, journal entries, awards, and other keepsakes to save as part of this project, we find more! We’re still going through some boxes of photos- Kathy and Val, two staff members who have been at ODB the longest, are sorting and labeling photos so that we can try to identify volunteers, staff and guests from long ago. We’ll share more as the project progresses.
The History Project is ongoing as we dive into closets and cabinets, finding new photos and articles to digitize for safekeeping.
Do you have photos from Our Daily Bread? Send them to us electronically (snap a photo, or scan them) to firstname.lastname@example.org!
