Jeni is a passionate artist, social justice advocate and educator on identity based issues. Over the past fifteen years, Jeni studied, trained, and worked on issues of inclusion, equity, and empowerment. Her devotion to this work is balanced with her passions for visual art, graphic design and transformational teaching. Jeni’s leadership experience includes: working in both college and high school settings raising awareness on inequality and encouraging students to develop an intersectional approach to understanding the social forces that shape us; working on progressive University-based programs and diversity-based community programs; and utilizing her technical expertise in marketing and visual communications for grassroots non-profit organizations. Currently, Jeni serves as Director of Communications at Our Daily Bread. Her roles include all things marketing and design oriented from designing this website, brochures and the brand identity, to writing articles to photographing the day-to-day operations and sharing them on social media.
